This holiday season, join us in reliving the reason for the season. Experience the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. You will journey with the wisemen to Bethlehem and end in the humble stable where Christ was born. Abundant life and volunteers from many churches and denomninations from La Grande have come together to bring you this one of a kind experience.
Located underneath Market Place Fresh Foods, you will be greeted by a your tour guide to help you along your journey. Roman soldiers asking for your “papers” (a passport is provided upon entry). You will be guided from Nazareth to Bethlehem, ending at the humble stable where Jesus Christ was born. You will meet three wisemen, along with the shepherds and their sheep.
Hear the scripture, live the historical moments as you walk through Bethlehem’s gates, and visit the city market. See the synagogue and meet the Rabbi. Finally, witness Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus in a live Nativity Scene. Angels will encourage and guide you through your journey.
Voluneers from all denominations have come together to create this spectacular event, supported by live actors, professional sound effects, live music, food and drink, and so much more. Experience the reasons for the season and celebrate the birth of Christ.
